WIMB 2021 and my current state of play.

Excerpt (Please click blog post title to read post in full): "Right now though, unless I really HAVE to get as much distance as possible off the tee, I would far rather hit my old favourite my 4W. Again if I set up to hit it right and have one swing thought here at the top of the backswing, which is LEEEEEE TREVINO it (ie chase it down the fairway, having my right shoulder touch my cheek as the club passes through the ball), then I can sweep a 4W right to left 200yds down the fairway, nay bother."

Notes to self… (Jetspeed and Freddy Couples)

Excerpt (Please click blog post title to read post in full): "Slow back and PULL that right elbow RIGHT into your side. Get up to the top of the backswing and then just pull the trigger. The rest takes care of itself. Which it did today on the range to be fair - as long as I pulled that right elbow RIGHT IN."

More COVID-19 thoughts in regards to my imminent 2020 season start.

Excerpt (Please click blog post title to read post in full): "Who knows what April will bring. Will courses be cancelled? Will we all be in "lockdown" (I prefer the word "quarantine"). Will just the over 70yos be in "lockdown" (in which case the course I've played by far the most golf on in the last three years, Billingbear, will be deserted (it's a real silver-surfers' paradise). Will my 2020 season happen on time or even AT ALL?"

The low-ne Wolff.

Excerpt (Please click blog post title to read post in full): "Wolff was born on my birthday (April 14th), but in 1999, rather than 1971 and big BIG things are predicted of him. In 2019 for example, he has already won the NCAA Single Season Scoring record (68.7) AND a tour event - now... only two other players in the history of golf have matched that - Ben Crenshaw and a certain Tiger Woods...."

Another round round-up. Lull averted. MOJO BACK!

Excerpt (Please click blog post title to read blog post in full): "Maybe it was the fact that I pured quite a lot of shots yesterday. Including a few drives (although I REALLY pured the ones AGAINST the howling gale yesterday, and almost mishit the ones WITH the wind, frustratingly!) and my irons - I hit two belters yesterday - a 52 wedge and a PERFECT 9 iron to the treacherous 5th green (which almost was my shot of the day). Maybe it was a combination of all the above - all I know is that my bag is set and my mojo is back...."
